In terms of categorization, DuPont™ Tyvek® stable packaging provides exceptional strength, durability,
and tear resistance. It is also employed in hydrogen peroxide gas plasma sterilization in hospitals, in
addition to ethylene oxide and gamma sterilization in the industrial sector.
Medset sterilization pouches are made of DuPont™ Tyvek® material, which is not covered with a transparent multilayer copolymer PET/PE and complies with the EN 868-9 standard. On the DuPont™ Tyvek® surface, water-based and non-toxic hydrogen peroxide process indications in accordance with the ISO 11140-1 standard are applied to differentiate between treated and untreated packages.
