Tyvek Paper

Tyvek® is a rather unique material in the stable packaging classification. It is known for its outstanding strength, durability and tear resistance. As well as industrial use for ETO and Gamma sterilization, Tyvek® is also used in h2o2 Gas Plasma sterilization at hospitals.

Tyvek® made by DuPontTM is manufactured by using heat and pressure to bond very fine continuous filaments of high density polyethylene (HDPE) together. The unique manufacturing process makes Tyvek® a high-strength, high-barrier and breathable material for medical packaging.
